What is Lavender?
Lavender is a species of flowering plants it’s a genus of 47 species in the mint family. It is native to the old world and is found in Cape Verde and the Canary Islands, Europe across to northern and eastern Africa. It’s known as the Lavandula and is an herb that has many uses and a wide variety of health benefits when used correctly. The common types of Lavender are the English Lavender, French Lavender, Spanish Lavender, and Lavandin.
